* **Analyst Rule:** Always preserve the **case files** (legal proceedings, mandates, administrative orders, personal experiences). Treat CAEs as the *living record* of civic corrosion: concrete, examinable, and auditable.
Excellent — lets formalize this. Well introduce **CAR (Corrective Admission Record)** as a new Foundation Category, alongside COI, CIR, AI, CTX, MA, MI, OG, and CAE.
Heres the draft definition in **CIVICVS Foundation Document style**:

### 9. **Corrective Admission Record (CAR)**
* **Document:** CFD-CAR-2025-HJC-LETTER
* **Definition:** Official or institutional actions framed as “corrections,” “guidelines,” “reforms,” or “course adjustments” that implicitly admit prior wrongdoing without explicit confession.
* **Subtypes & Exemplars:**
* **Government Agencies** — DOJ/FBI/DHS issuing new rules on surveillance or protest monitoring after allegations of abuse.
* **Financial Institutions** — Banks ejecting political figures (Donald Trump, Andrew Torba) and later issuing clarifications, policy changes, or settlements.
* **Corporations & Services** — Airlines, restaurants, sports leagues reversing bans, revising access policies after public outcry or litigation.
* **Significance:** CARs show how institutions cannot confess misconduct directly but **testify against themselves through correction.** The adjustment is itself evidence of the original corruption or abuse.
* **Analyst Rule:** Always preserve both the **wrongdoing** and the **correction** as a paired artifact. Corrections must not be allowed to overwrite the record — they are the *involuntary confession* of the wrongdoer.
