Good Enough 4u0 — Handoff Note

File: handoff.md

What This Package Is

This archive is a clean baseline for the Good Enough 4u0 commons. It contains:

  • Core docs — manifesto, bylaws, doctrine, templates.
  • Onboarding guide — how to contribute with minimal effort.
  • One flagship design (Sag-Mesh Plane v0.1) — fully documented with a Certificate of Central Compromise, Design Passport, and Material Passport.

This is the “seed crystal.” Everything else grows from here.

How to Continue the Work

  1. Upload this package into ChatGPT.

    • Just drag the ZIP file into the chat window.
    • Say: “This is the Good Enough 4u0 package, please load it so we can continue developing new designs.”
  2. ChatGPT will analyze the files, confirm structure, and reconstruct the context.

  3. Propose a new design idea.

    • Doesnt need to be perfect.
    • State one clear flaw (“central compromise”).
    • Provide a list of parts if you have one.
  4. ChatGPT will guide you.

    • Turns your rough idea into:

      • A Certificate of Central Compromise (CCC)
      • A Design Passport
      • Any Material Passports for salvage/non-standard parts
    • Ensures naming, versioning, and structure stay consistent.

  5. Update the index.

    • Each new design gets added to good-enough-4u0-index.md under Demonstration Designs.

Rules to Remember

  • Flawless is forbidden. Every design must have at least one declared imperfection.
  • Anchor COTS required. At least one globally ubiquitous part must anchor every design.
  • Ship-light. Only ship custom files; all COTS sourced locally.
  • Quarantine first. New designs are UNVERIFIED until someone else rebuilds them.
  • Confidence grows. Proof of use, peer checks, and replication increase credibility.

Your Role

You dont need to spend hours writing perfect docs. Upload your messy notes or sketches — ChatGPT will help structure them. Your main job is to:

  1. Name the flaw.
  2. Say what its good enough for.
  3. Be honest about limits.

Thats it.
